Ocean View Resort, Koh Tao

My stay at Ocean View Resort was a mixed bag. The location is truly great, just a short walk from the beach, but the experience was marred by rude staff and some room issues. I appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, but the service left much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience.

My stay at the resort left much to be desired. While the location is perfect and the rooms were decent for the price, the service was shockingly rude and unhelpful. My experience at Ocean View was unfortunately marred by aggressive staff and overall dissatisfaction. While the location was ideal, just a stone's throw from the beach, and my initial bungalow was decent for the price, being asked to move to a smaller, dirty room or pay more left a sour taste. The lack of hot water and a broken fan in our room didn’t help either. I was also quite shocked when on our last day, the staff didn't inform us about the cancellation of our boat, leading to a near-miss with our flight. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place due to the horrible treatment we received.
